Dr. Cunningham (she/her) earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has a Master’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Mizzou. She completed her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Memphis and her doctoral internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Counseling Center. Prior to joining WashU, she was the Training Director/Assistant Director at the Lehigh University Counseling and Psychological Services for eight years and served as the Associate Director/Training Director at Drexel University’s Counseling Center. Dr. Cunningham takes an integrative approach to therapy (interpersonal, relational-cultural) utilizing a multicultural and feminist framework. Her interest areas include identity development, relationship/interpersonal concerns and sport and performance psychology.
