Zeina is a doctoral intern at CCPS and a fifth-year doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at William James College, where she also earned her Master of Arts in Professional Psychology. She received her bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida and completed a Certificate in Professional Psychology from UC Berkeley. Her interdisciplinary background in the social sciences and passion for social justice informs her appreciation for the complex ways that culture, systems, relationships, and lived experiences shape mental health.

Zeina takes an integrative and relational approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, attachment-based, person-centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), narrative, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) perspectives. She believes that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine therapeutic relationship and strives to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences. Her work is also informed by multicultural and feminist perspectives and guided curiosity, authenticity, and cultural humility. She tailors her approach to each client’s unique strengths and values. As a Lebanese American who immigrated to the United States as a teenager, Zeina’s personal and professional experiences have shaped her commitment to providing culturally responsive and affirming care. She recognizes that identity, family, and broader social contexts influence how individuals understand themselves and navigate the world.

Her clinical interests include identity development, interpersonal and relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, complex trauma, attachment and family relationships, body image concerns, immigration, acculturation, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, and supporting clients as they navigate change, strengthen relationships, and build lives that are aligned with their values.

Outside of the therapy room, Zeina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring nature, reading, cooking, and finding inspiration through beautiful interiors and art.
