Jessica Anderson, MA, LPC, (she/her) is a dedicated urgent care counselor with passion for helping individuals navigate challenging situations. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in family studies from Southeast Missouri State University and completed her master’s degree in professional counseling at Lindenwood University.

With over ten years of practical experience, Jessica has cultivated her skills in crisis intervention by working at inpatient and outpatient hospital programs and community mental health. Her clinical expertise encompasses crisis intervention, OCD & anxiety disorders, substance use, ADHD, depression, shame/self-esteem, and grief. Jessica understands the unique challenges individuals face during times of crisis and approaches counseling with holistic and integrated techniques tailored to individual needs.

In addition to her dedication as an urgent care counselor, Jessica is also the co-leader of the ADHD skills group. This role allows her to directly support individuals with ADHD, providing them with the tools and strategies to navigate their challenges and maximize their strengths.

Jessica’s commitment to student wellness extends beyond her professional role. She actively engages in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques. This dedication enables her to provide evidence-based strategies that empower students to overcome obstacles, manage stress, build resilience, and thrive academically and personally.
