Alleah Francisco (she/her/hers) is an advanced practicum trainee at CCPS and is completing her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of San Agustin in the Philippines. She is passionate about supporting students as they navigate academic stress, life transitions, migration and cultural adjustments, interpersonal relationships, identity, and emotional concerns.
Before joining CCPS, Alleah gained experience supporting individuals experiencing crises in community mental health and providing care coordination within IOP/PHP settings. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, with influences from psychodynamic and humanistic approaches. Depending on each student’s needs, she may incorporate mindfulness, values exploration, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance skills into sessions.
As an immigrant, Alleah recognizes the ways culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences can shape a person’s well-being. She approaches therapy with cultural humility and views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative space where students can feel understood, explore their experiences, and work toward meaningful change.
