Courtney Foreman (she/her) is an advanced practicum trainee who is completing her Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling at Webster University. She will graduate in December 2026 and plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology and trauma research. Courtney received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arkansas State University, where she also obtained a minor in cognitive science, a minor in philosophy, and a certificate in neuropsychological testing.

She is passionate about working with trauma, neurodivergence, the LGBTQIA+ community, family systems, and all things related to neuroscience. She values cultural humility and serving any and all people. She aligns best with an integrative theoretical approach to counseling. She believes each client and their stories are unique, and her clinical approach reflects her goal of tailoring treatment to each individual by combining tools and approaches from different theories. Courtney believes change and healing are nonlinear processes that are guided by self-awareness, compassion for oneself, immeasurable bravery, and choice.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, creative journaling, exercising, crafting cocktails, and playing games.
