Debra Pacheco Rodriguez, M.A., is a bilingual Latina psychology doctoral intern at CCPS who is completing her PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Saint Elzabeth University, where she received her master’s degree.

She is passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD, particularly children and adolescents. With a strong foundation in person-centered therapy, she integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and narrative therapy to support clients in building emotional resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful personal narratives. Her approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s unique journey.

She is also fluent in Spanish and deeply values the role that culture plays in shaping our identities, experiences, and healing processes. She aims to provide culturally responsive care that acknowledges and integrates each client’s unique experiences. Additionally, she strives to create a culturally responsive space where clients feel understood and affirmed.

In addition to her work with youth and neurodiverse individuals, she also enjoys working with athletes, helping them manage the psychological demands of performance and develop tools for mental wellness both on and off the field. Ultimately, her goal is to help clients feel empowered in their identities and equipped with the tools they need to thrive.
