Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU). She is a 6th year doctoral student of Clinical Psychology at PHSU, and is currently pursuing a certificate in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. Erin became interested in behavioral and brain sciences after working in education and completing military deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She takes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, and often uses a cognitive-behavioral framework. Her professional and research interests include health psychology, emotion regulation, stress management/resilience, and mindfulness, especially in military and underserved populations.
Erin is enjoying her 13th year of service in the Army Reserve, is an aspiring novelist, and considers herself an afficionado of Caribbean music genres.
